Date notes: The caterpillar was found on July 27, 2017, pupated on August 1, 2017, and emerged as an adult on August 13, 2017.

Observation notes: This geometer caterpillar was discovered crawling on clothing while working in a residential flower bed. Small bits of flower parts appeared to be moving about but upon further investigation a larva was found hiding inside the debris. It was reared out to the adult stage. The wingspan of the adult is 12 mm. Dorsal and ventral photos are attached.
