Observation notes: I have many missing flowers on that particular plant. I assumed it was a deer stroll by and munching it, and still could be the cause. This plant is a Veronica Longifolia First Lady perennial in my front flower bed at 8,500' in the Colorado Rockies. I did not observe it eating, but was closing checking out the plant. I came back a few hours later to show my husband and there was no sign anywhere in the area.
