Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I was surprised it was landing on tree leaves along an irrigation ditch, instead of flowers. Anyone know why other than it was tired?

Coordinator notes: Lorquin's Admirals are perching species looking for mates and patrol along wood edges where willows grow. I suspect they also feed at tree sap and dead things over visiting flowers.-Ken Davenport
