Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: None.
Status: Resident

Coordinator notes: While there are definitely similarities, this is actually a species of comma, not the Compton Tortoiseshell. Based on the location of this sighting, the fairly plain and uniformly brown ventral side, and the third triangular spot on the dorsal hindwing, this is almost certainly a Satyr Comma (though the distinctive comma-like spot on the hindwing is absent, possibly due to a genetic mutation).
