Speyeria edwardsii

Coordinator notes: I think this is Edwards Fritillary because it is obviously a larger butterfly than the Mormon Fritillary and the date coincides more with the time edwardsii flies; mormonia is a July and later summer butterfly in moist meadows from well about 8000 ft. and also previously recorded from Archuleta County. The important side to try and get a photograph is the underside of the hindwings. Kind of odd I think that this one opened to the full upperside while feeding. Maybe warming while feeding in the AM?
