Observation notes: The sighting was just inside the Mission San Jose Tumacacori National Park museum entrance (Santa Cruz County, Arizona) which I believe, if my memory serves me, was semi-exposed to the outdoors. The creature (moth or butterfly) was on one of the overhead wooden beams near the ceiling. I have another picture of it zoomed out more and you can see part of the door in the background. It appeared to be several inches wide.
