Observation notes: 3:00 PM This moth flew and settled on my patio wall, near the corners of Desert Cove and Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd in Scottsdale Arizona. I thought it was a small bird at first, but got up and noticed it was a moth I had never seen before, so I grabbed my cellphone and took a picture. I searched for large moths in Arizona and found your website, which is why I chose to submit the sighting.
7:30 PM This moth is still here on the patio wall. He or she seems very comfortable.
