Observation notes: Was on Apache Plume flowers at Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico next to the shade structure by the natural entrance.

Coordinator notes: WOW! this is the first time this subtropical species has been seen in New Mexico. Previously known only from Lower Rio Grande Valley of south Texas, and south from there. Thanks for seeing it, snapping pix, and submitting them to BAMONA!
