Observation notes: For the last several our native plant garden and water oasis has been a major draw for animals and insects. Today I had over 15 species of butterflies including a California Sister (1st in 6 years), dozen Monarchs and this Longtail - I new ranch species. I have seen this species many times while living on the Upper Texas Coast - Lake Jackson, TX.
