Observation notes: 60 degrees, overcast. Lots of typical E.Propertius and Northern Cloudywings; this one stood out.

Coordinator notes: Both brizo and icelus are recorded for Sonoma County but the more brown hindwing is a character of brizo which occurs on hilltops with scrub oaks, the larval host. Yes these two species do stand out as different from other duskywings though some persius can look like icelus-Ken Davenport
