Observation date: September 12, 2015

Observation notes: This Arizona Sister was caught in the glass canopy of our deck on a warm sunny calm afternoon. It could not get out, so I had to gently help it escape. We live in the Carson National Forest consisting of mixed conifers, aspens, and scrub oak. We have not seen this species before since moving here 5 years ago. Our property is in the Sangre de Cristo range of New Mexico at 8,700 feet.
