Observation notes: Found and photographed on a building on Nicollet Island, Minneapolis, MN. Very hot and windy day. Appeared to be trying to find its way out of this corner, but the wind was so strong that day. Restaurant owner said that it had been there all day, struggling. I gently picked it up and walked it to a green space with flowers and shade. It was gone when I checked back after our meal.
