Coordinator notes: I don't see any checks in the fringe - that would be the Ancilla Dotted-blue in the sighting area - I don't see any metallic scales either but that could just be the light angle. The underside looks most most like the "Buckwheat Blue" - a better name for P. lupini than the Lupine Blue - that should be the name for Plebejus icaroides (aka Boisduval's Blue). The hostplant is Buckwheats (Eriogonum - umbellatum in this area)- the same as it is for the Ancilla Dotted-blue. Mike
