The Spring Azure, Celastrina ladon exists in Canada only near the west end of Lake Erie, so your record is way too far north and east. The same paper states that Celastrina serotina , in Ontario, does not exist, and I think that the same is true for New York State. Celastrina neglecta is much paler, with an almost white background colour and not nearly as much dark pigment. So the specimen is simply a worn first-generation specimen of Celastrina lucia, the Northern Azure.
