Observation Notes:
I observed this butterfly twice on the afternoon of October 12, 2020. Slow wingbeat and gliding caught my attention. It visited Knockout roses, lantana, buddleia, and black and blue salvia. It never lit, but flew pass these blooming plants as if looking them over. It was a warm humid day with temperature around 80 degrees and clear. I took a quick photo as it glided over me about 20 feet high.
