Observation Notes: 
Temp hi 50s F. Moth’s longitudinal length ~35 to 40 mm. Found alive and resting on deck boards shortly after they were cleaned with a hose. House is sited in mixed woods with some trees overhanging the deck. Overall I believe it fits genus Calocala quite well. Based on the color of the hind wing and the dark-line markings on the fore wings, I think its species is concumbens, though I’m less confident of the species ID. Verification or correction welcomed.

I've tried to ID this moth but not having any luck. It was BIG, slightly smaller than my palm. When the wings flapped, it seemed to have bright colors tucked away. Seen in the Catskill Mountain region of New York.
