Sighting Record 1190781

Observation Notes:
We live in Placitas, NM and have noticed several of these on our patio. They appear to be most common by our juniper but that may be a coincidence. They’re popping up mainly on the East side of the house that gets a lot of morning sun and afternoon shade. They are not longer than 1/2 to 3/4 inch long and travel flat rather than foot-to-foot like an inch worm. It’s just stared to get cool here, so we are a little surprised to see such fragile creatures crawling around - we expect to have our first frost in the next week or so.
