Observation Notes: 
Seen flying pretty quickly from one vinca blossom to the next to feed (about 20 vinca plants in the bed, half magenta and the other half a violet color). Would visit 2-3 blossoms on the plant, then move to the next vinca plant and hit a couple of blossoms there, then move to the next one and do the same thing, then circled them all again. Weather: 89 degrees, 38% humidity, clear skies.

Seen while taking my dog for a walk in a heavily wooded park. Sailed around us then up into a Bur Oak tree where it landed and rested for about 2 minutes, then flew off. Size: Approx. 2.75 -3" wingspan. Weather: 89 degrees, 53% humidity, sunny clear skies.

Observation Notes: 
This swallowtail bat its wings furiously the entire time it fed on these flowers at the demonstration gardens. Stayed around them for about 10 minutes then flew over to another flower bed with the same flowers, then after a few minutes back to this one. Wings a little tattered. Size: Approx. 3" wingspan. Weather: 91 degrees, 48% humidity, mostly sunny skies.
