Observation Notes: 
Female Cabbage White flying around in a backyard woodland-type garden that had some tulips, leaf matter, and creeping jenny, where it landed and stayed until I left (2-3 minutes). Size: Approx. 1.75-2" wingspan. Weather: 67 degrees, lightly overcast skies, light breezes.

Observation Notes: 
Saw three of these Admirals on a row of about seven large Lilac shrubs all filled with blossoms (some the traditional lavender color, some a little more pink or violet). It was very windy out so occasionally the wind seemed to carry the butterflies off to the next blossom. Sizes: Approx. 2" each, the first one seemed a tad faded with some nicks in its wings while the third one's wings were intact and its coloring a little more vivid. (Couldn't get any photos of #2.) Weather: Approx. 83 degrees, mostly sunny skies, low humidity with strong winds.

Saw this Sulphur fluttering about through the open fields at Baker Wetlands (where there are nearby natural ponds and wetland areas, along with native grasses) where it briefly rested on the ground. Pale buttery yellow, approx. 2.25-2.5" wingspan. Weather: Approx. 65 degrees, blue skies, cool winds.
