The first two Arizona records of Blomfild's Beauty (Smyrna blomfildia) were added to the database: a Cochise County record from Pat Mowbry-Graeme and a Pima County record from an unknown observer. Records from El Paso, Kleberg, DeWitt, and Hidalgo Counties (Texas) were also added to the database. (AZ-10Nov09)

Two Arizona records of the Broad-banded Swallowtail (Papilio astyalus) were added to the database for Cochise (Bob Behrstock) and Santa Cruz (Judy Winslow & John Saba) Counties. (AZ-13July09)

Arizona records of Urbanus procne, Myscelia cyananthe, Papilio astyalus, Calpodes ethlius, Anteos clorinde, Eurema daira, and Chioides albofasciatus were added to the database from Mary Klinkel and Fred Heath, Hank Brodkin & April Day, Sheri Williamson, Robert Behrstock, Doug Mullins and John Saba. The Kendall's Skipper (Stinga kendamulaza) was added to the database with records from Tlaxcala, Puebla, and Oaxaca, Mexico.

The Seasonal Leafwing (Zaretis ellops) was added to the database along with a new photograph and a Tabasco, Mexico sighting from Richard and Jane McDonald.

Twenty new photographs were added to the database from photographer Gary Jue for the following species: Ares Metalmark, Arizona Metalmark, Desert Marble, Desert Orangetip, Fatal Metalmark, Lyside Sulphur, Many-spotted Skipperling, Mexican Yellow, Palmer's Metalmark, Tailed Yellow, Western Pygmy-Blue, and Zela Metalmark.
