Identification: Forewing dark brown with metallic blackish shading and whtie median dusting. Curved pm. and partial st. lines metallic purple or green with orange-yellow between them. Note sharp white triangle at costa near apex. Hindwing smoky grayish brown, pointed at outer angle.
Wing Span: 0.9-1.1 cm.
Life History: Larva skeletonizes leaves of host plant.
Flight: June-September.
Caterpillar Hosts: Mad-dog skullcap.
