Identification: Wings light brown, dark reddish brown in forewing basal area and beyond pm. line on all wings. Hindwing tinted with deep yellow on costal half. Black distal spot.
Wing Span: 2.6-3.6 cm.
Life History:
Flight: April - July.
Caterpillar Hosts: Blueberries, choke cherry, and oaks.

Range: Nova Scotia to Florida, west to Wisconsin and Texas.
