Subfamily: Prodoxinae
Identification: Head ochreous. Forewing dark fuscous with purplish sheen. Near the base a yellowish white band, and two creamy spots on termen near tornus and opposite it on costa. Hindwings gray, with reddish tinge.
Wing Span: about 12 mm
Life History: Immature stages are not known. The moth emerges in early summer.
Flight: The moth emerges in early summer.
