Chloraspilates bicoloraria (Packard, 1876)

Subfamily: Ennominae
Identification: Forewing green with pale brown strip along costa and dark brown marks near apex; hindwing contrasting light brown with dark brown median line. There may also be a pale or tan form of this moth.
Wing Span: 0.9-1.1 cm
Life History:
Flight: April to November. Year round in south Texas.
