Identification: Upperside pale blue with black edges. Underside white with cream-colored bands.
Wing Span: Not reported.
Life History: Caterpillars eat leaves of the host plants.
Flight: Many flights throughout the year in Mexico.
Caterpillar Hosts: Solanum umbellatum in the potato family (Solanaceae).
Adult Food: Flower nectar.
Habitat: Open areas of the subtropics.
Range: Central America north through Mexico. Rare stray into southern Arizona.
Conservation: Not required for rare stray.
