Observation notes: -10 degrees Celcius and overcast and calm in morning, 20 degrees Celcius and sunny with light breeze by noon until about 6:00 pm
-butterfly netted around 2:00 pm in drier pine dominated area of forest surrounding house, very open understory (seemed to be landing on Kinnikinkik)
- multiple occurrences of this species (perhaps three individuals total)
