Observation notes: My son found this caterpillar out in the grass in the middle of our yard. We have never seen anything like it before! We want to raise it but are unsure what it needs?

Coordinator notes: Be very careful with this caterpillar. It is one of a handful of stinging caterpillars in Michigan. It turns into a beautiful moth, but its spines pack a punch!
