Observation notes: This individual fluttered into my garage about sundown (sun going below the ridgeline of hills to the west). The picture shows it perched on one of the roof rafters. Warm summer day in Los Angeles. The house is in one of the well vegetated canyons in Los Angeles, elevation about 900'.
