Observation notes: Caterpillar was crossing asphalt path, due to heavy rains the grass and surrounding foliage was quite wet, with some standing water. Inching along is a better term for the movement. Appeared to be heading toward standing tree, oak I believe adjacent to the path. place a broad leaf in its path and when it inched onto leaf, we moved it to the root area of the tree.
