Observation notes: As I was walking through my flower bed admiring my flowers this amazing guy/girl came and was feeding on my purple coneflowers and of course never having seen one before I took multiple pictures of it and enjoyed watching it feed for several minutes. It didn't seem to mind me watching it and taking pictures of it. And when it finally flew away i immediately started researching to see what was visiting my flowers. The weather was partly sunny..a rain was fixing to move through. And in my flower bed it was feeding on the purple coneflowers and only hovered around the zinnias that are in the same bed it seemed to enjoy the coneflower more.
