Observation notes: A lovely brown butterfly sunning itself upon a blade of grass on a very warm, comfortable morning. Alongside a field of tall grasses, weeds, etc.

Coordinator notes: The first photograph suggested Eyed Brown, but the second confirmed it as Appalachian Brown -- lack of an inward-pointing tooth on the HW post-basal line.
