Observation notes: Moth flew into shaded patio area...at first I thought it was a small bat. It settled on a spot and stayed a while -- I noticed about two hours later that it was gone but it has returned to that exact spot and is still there (21:18). Sunny hot day - almost 100 F - no wind or rain. Full moon.
