Observation notes: I believe this is a moth - it is quite large - about 5-6 inches across the wingspan. It is on the wall of my outside entryway, keeping very still. It was cool this morning - lots of humidity in our area over the past few days (unusual for us). Really quite amazing - the wings look like feathers. Just beautiful!
