Observation notes: Spotted on the interior of our window screen in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. Breezy pre-storm weather. We took off the screen to encourage it to fly off, which it eventually did, but reluctantly.

Coordinator notes: This is a Nessus Sphinx moth, and a mystery as to how it appeared indoors. Perhaps it lit on you when you were outside, or the caterpillar came in with a plant.
