Heterocampa guttivitta

Observation date: June 13, 2014
Submitted by: RhondaA
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: around 80 degrees and humid, was first sited on a friends foot in shade. Crawled across dirt to a rug. When on top of it a leaf was laid in front of it to see if it would eat or crawl onto it. It crawled under it. Smooth--did not appear to have any hair at all. Darker markings were very red looking surrounded by yellow on a green body. Two 'horns' on tail end.
