Observation notes: Found hovering around outside light @ 12:30 a.m. Dog was trying to catch it. I brought it inside and held it in my hand where it seemed to be shaking (in fear?). It flew off eventually and is probably still somewhere in the house. Has a large body covered in What actually looks and feels like gray fur.
