Observation notes: Sitting beneath porch light motionless, ca. 6:00PM, South Asheville, NC. Photo with my finger included to indicate size (ca. 1 3/4 to 2 inches - 4.5 to 5 Cm.) Location is mostly suburban, but has lots of trees common to Southeastern Hardwood Forest, and sections of preserved forest nearby.
