Observation notes: Small dark brown duskywing oviposting on emerging honey locust leaves. Duskywing darted about backyard and returned repeatedly to locust for egg depositing. Based upon host plant and markings above and below appears to be Zarucco. White fringe does not appear to be as prominent as Funereal and some Florida Zarucco duskywings have been noted in reference as having such HW fringe.

Coordinator notes: Based on the photos in Glassberg's "Butterflies through Binoculars, the East" (plate 52)of Wild Indigo and Zarucco Duskywings, I believe this is a female of the latter species.
