Observation notes: collected this larva march 8, 2014, noticed that it hatched 04/03/2014, it looks a little worn from flying around in jar. looks older than one might seem. light rain within the last couple days. high humidity. cool temps low sixties for the high. not much longer than the width of my index finger approx. three quarters on and inch long. It ate some mallow flowers that i put in for it then hid to pupate. originally found it roaming like it was ready to pupate, submitted larva already has been waiting for id of larva expert.
