Observation notes: Kids brought in caterpillar last fall and put in an old terrarium with some leaves and forgot about it. This spring, it hatched...presumably the longer day length and temperature prompted it. It is still very early in our spring here (snow, no flowers) so we will attempt to keep it alive with any blossoms we have inside.
