Coordinator notes: You may have found an individual with exaggerated features suggesting a hairstreak "tail" but the pattern is typical of California subspecies iroides, it does not appear to be a Moss' Elfin (Callophrys mossii) nor is it Muir's Hairstreak (Callophrys muiri)
