Observation notes: on black sage for nectar cool, high 65 1500 hrs, partly cloudy moist due to rains 1.5 - 5.5 in orange co in five day event. no rain for two days but some slow trickle in creeks now finally, it's been very dry. several species on this sage. bramble or green dusky two species at least. elfin. also lot's of sonoran blue. but not on this plant on low growing plants. all butterflies were startled by my appearance, only bramble did not return for photo session. all others learned to tolerate me getting very close if i approached slowly.
