Observation notes: The specimen rested quietly (about a meter from my office door) on the stuccoed wall of the 1920s-vintage ranch-style building that is my "office building" on the east campus of Azusa Pacific University. The temperature was near 78 degrees Fahrenheit. The wall is shaded by a verandah. Breezes were minmal.
