  Sighting 958823

Observation date: July 26, 2013
Submitted by: peg zeis
Specimen type: Sighting
Observation notes: The moth, which I discovered just before dark, was on the north facing side of a house. I knew immediately it was something unusual and, thinking that it had become entrapped in spider webbing, I used a broom to gently loose it. When it flew to the ground I had an excellent opportunity, flashlight in hand, to study it in detail. By the time I returned with my camera the moth had flown away.
