Observation notes: low sixties 1300 hrs cool wind, rain last night about .25 of and inch. ground moist for the first time in a long time. funeral dusky, green or bramble, anise west coast ladie, and painted lady. along with gray h s. all chasing each other around. oh and red admiral. the hair streaks perched more than the others. they would stop to sun them selves then at the first sign of another butterfly of any kind they would give chase again. first sunny day after rains the hill toppers seem to always be very active.
