Observation notes: clear sky's 72 mid day lots of these hanging around the rush milkweed in desert are of fullerton arboretum, and near tropical milkweed also and seeking nectar. also skippers, marine blue and hair streak, cloudless sulphur. dusky wing. great place to look for butterflies and lots of great plants in different environmental settings. been a warm dry winter. have been told by friends that there lots of butterflies monarchs in the trees wintering over in santa cruze. ca. also santa barbara this winter. we saw no monarchs here. today.
