Observation notes: warm spell hot morning feels like eighty or more in direct sun light. highs have been in the seventies to low eighties. this little one got between screen and window. when i saw a shadow on the window it looked much bigger. lots of grasses in yard blue grass and bermuda also lots of others. these were very common all summer and fall, this is the first one i have seen in quite a while. was a nice find. Happy new year to all. Especially you ken thanks for donating all the hours for this site. Also a huge thanks for the work you do at your real job. this butterfly did not seem to know it was free. it posed for photo shoot. they seem to love the status and pinnace also onion for nectar. sunning and fighting for territory in the yard.
