Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: on milkweed very hot day clear skies we see lots of monarchs but rarely see any larva. Most must get taken by predators or in the wild they may eat early and late and avoid being out in mid day hours. as a kid i would find the monarch larva mostly in early morning hours.
