Observation notes: warm spring day these were hill toping we stayed late in the day and so did they, they patrolled up and down the ridge battling for the hill top stoping to bask in the sun. very green spring lots of annuals and shrubs blooming very green. we saw a lion on the ridge top that same evening as sun was getting ready to set. took pictures after enlarging we could see it was collard with tracking device we took the long way back to avoid mountain lions area. caspers park orange county has had attacks in the past. we were lucky. carry a walking stick and don't go early or late in the day or alone. i think the trail was called west ridge trail. don't think i have been back.
