Observation notes: Lots of these on this date, were on the move during the warm part of the day. this one was cold and stopped long enough to get this shot overnight high thirties to low forties day time high low seventies. lots of different shades of color some had more green tinge to them others more yellow tan hew. good showing of most butterfly's so far this year in colorado low desert due to monsoons during summer. heavy out break of calif patch was a real treat in late summer early fall. more rain five days ago should keep it going.
